AACC has announced that the company has appointed Mark J. Golden as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer and he will assume his new responsibilities from August 17, 2020.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Mark J. Golden spent 7 years at the National Society of Professional Engineers (NPSE), where he served at the post of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Directors.
In his new responsibilities after becoming CEO of AACC, Mark J. Golden would be responsible to help the company in the articulation of a new strategic plan that was debuted in 2019 that would ensure the rapid growth of the company.
The new strategic plan has primarily 5 goals as, highlighting the essential value of labs to other healthcare professionals and the public, development around the role of data analytics, promoting scientific discussion among participants, driving scientific advancement in laboratory medicine and AACC’s advocacy program and influence.
President of AACC, Dr. Carmen Wiley said, “Following an extensive search that considered many qualified candidates, it is with great excitement that AACC’s Board of Directors announces Mark Golden’s appointment as CEO. AACC has undergone tremendous changes over the last several years as we have sought out new and innovative ways to help our members do what they do best and provide vital insight so patients get the care they need.”

Company’s newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Mark J.
